A Family Consultation might be the best tailored support option for your situation if:

The focus of Family Consultation is to bring clarity and peace-of-mind to you and your family around a specific issue or conversation you are preparing to have.
The goal of Family Consultation is to provide third-party, professional perspective and support when approaching your loved one about an addiction, drug or alcohol use, or mental health concern.

I will meet with you either a single time, or for a small number of focused conversations around a specific topic. This is because Family Consultations are designed to help with a specific issue or conversation you are planning. For ongoing support, I also offer Family Coaching.
Don’t worry about choosing a specific service right away. I offer a complimentary 30-minute consultation call where you can share the details of your situation so we can determine the best course of action for your family.
Yes. Though Family Consultations are often booked by spouses, adult children, siblings, or parents, you do not have to be a relative of the person want to help. You may be looking to support a friend or housemate who is experiencing addiction, using drugs or alcohol, or having a mental health crisis.
Family Consultations are typically one-time consultations where we will address a specific issue or conversation you are preparing to have with your loved one. Family Coaching, on the other hand, provides ongoing, regular support to help you understand your loved one while navigating them through recovery, even if open dialogue is not currently happening.
It’s natural to have a lot of questions when considering Family Consultations or other intervention services – my free consultation call will get you started.
During our 30-minute call I’ll answer your questions and we’ll explore your options, with zero pressure to make a decision.
You can connect with me confidentially by calling, texting, or sending an email. Together we will look at your situation and determine the best way to move forward.
Sometimes my work with a family develops into working as a Recovery Coach directly with your loved one who needs help.
Recovery Coaching is a collaborative approach to changing someone’s relationship with drugs or alcohol. A Recovery Coach (or ‘Sober Coach’) works with individuals towards getting healthy and to an overall better place.
